During a three-month residency at Katoomba Tip, I used 35mm film and studio lighting to reframe how i look at waste. By collecting and photographing discarded objects in a makeshift studio onsite, I transformed overlooked materials into sculptural photographic subjects, giving them a second chance to be seen.
